My First Blog Post!!!!

You can call me Rogue.

This blog is to pull back the curtain a little on the Evangelical church because there are many things that have gone under the radar for far too long. I am only one person but I have strong opinions and many stories about growing up in the church and how it affected me growing up.

For starters, I am 21, in college and I was raised Apostolic/Pentecostal/Non-Denominational (Its hard to pin it down), but in order to pin it down to one accurate term, I was raised in the general area os the Caribbean/Caribbean American Church (I'm from Jamaica but was raised in the States). My parents are active members in the church as are most of my extended family.

This blog is going to touch on many controversial topics within the church including (but not limited to);

-Purity Culture

-Hypocrisy in the Church

-False Doctrine/False Teaching

-The Denomination Argument

and more...

I must add that some of the things I will say on this blog are my opinions. Though I will cite the Bible and make reference to it, it is a book that is interpreted very differently by everyone so how I interpret it is not necessarily the end all and be all. Feel free to disagree and argue your case on any of my posts. I enjoy discussions!!

I might go off topic a bit as well and talk about other things like politics, current events, pop culture, and i might even do some reviews on other Christian content from various platforms.
